We are proud to work with the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project to expand the use of locally grown foods.
We are committed to working with local farmers and producers for much of what we need to make our delicious made from scratch food. We purchase many kinds of fresh produce, meats, cheeses, homemade jam, and fresh flowers from producers in the Asheville area.
Many of our farmers and producers have worked with us for years and have become friends. We love that we know where our food comes from. It is so exciting when we get a delivery of wild mushrooms and we get to hear the story of finding them, or when a farmer tells us our lettuce was picked out of the field an hour ago!
When you come to the bakery you know where your food comes from too!
